Since I seem to have become an overnight fan I guess I better sign up and introduce myself.

I'm a bit of a jack of all trades, I've worked as:
a welder/fabricator making trampolines, swings, gates,
    a Sysadmin for small businesses,
    a Sapper (part time/reservist),
    a Light truck driver,
    a ...Soldererer (Make/refurbish transmitter beacons for dementia(typically alzheimer's) patients.

I've been hobbyist programmer for several years, I've worked a little on FrEee (a fan remake of Space Empires 4) and am currently involved in Pulsar4x (A fan remake of Aurora) as well as a bunch of my own projects.

I'm extremely keen to see Imperias progression and am waiting on baited breath to see the unity release.

    Hello se5a!

    Welcome to the forums!

I'm guessing from your name you like Space Empires. SE3 and Stars! were some of my first inspirations to create my own space strategy games, and it's neat to see that you have so many interests!

By the way, in response to your question on the Bay 12 forums, I do have .415 just sitting on my computer, gathering virtual dust, but I believe it fixed numerous issues, and fixed the load/save bug. I'll compile it tonight and stick it on DropBox with a new link, as well as SourceForge. I'd be interested to see how you like it! Glad you like what you've seen so far.

I certainly did that yesterday! I'll post today. Found a few other little things, so it's good to go!

It's a well known trap, along with "It'll only take me 20min to refactor this function and make it look a little tidier." and "I could optimise this." ;-)
