    36. Have factions within the empire. Environmentalist, capitalist, religious, etc. These factions could make demands or spark riots. Inversely, they could provide benefits and work with the emperor if they align ideologically.

    37. Similar agents to informants. I'm thinking things like diplomats, economists, etc. These would provide a small boost to relations, the economy, or anything else. You have a limited number at a time, so you have to choose which planets need them the most. Good way to 'top off' a planet without spending admin.

    38. Infrastructure rating for each planet? Affected by government spending or direct stimulus packages. Base value & limit based on planet type. Affects productivity of the economy & troop movement speed during an invasion.
    39. Crime rates? Could be reduced by effective government, education, and/or welfare.
    40. Emergency conscripted militia. Far less effective than standard military units and could be seen as tyrannical (or nationalist, depending on the context). However, very cheap and can be raised at a moment's notice to delay a surprise invasion.

    41. This is a far more long-term goal: Mod support?

    42. Just for fun, some kind of standard of living index? It would be nice to see how your citizens are doing.

From a personal interest standpoint, if .lua modding were possible, I'd be rather delighted. Naturally .lua only has limited potential mod-wise, but nonetheless, it is a code I am using a lot of the time (I'm an avid player of Rust on Steam and am delving into plugin creation for it).

Edit: If the forum were to upgrade to XenForo then mods could then be floated on the forum itself, with XenForo having a built-in resource uploading function.

I promise you, I am logging each of these ideas. I can't promise you that they will all be added (I can tell you for sure that the excess ADM thing is a specific design decision) but I am considering each and every one of them! Thank you Divair!!

And the living index is sort of encapsulated in the ADL. Unless you mean something else.

Consideration is all I ask for (-:

As for ADL, I was thinking something more along the lines of an overall empire-wide HDI (human development index) rating. Something so you can tell at a glance if your empire is developed or not.

    43. When planning an edict, add a method of determining income post-implementation of edict. It's a pain to have to check two or three income screens before deciding on a simple edict.

Sure! What exactly do you want to see? You already see your per-month costs for the proposed Edict while building it.

The income of the planet/sector/system/empire after you deduct the per-month costs. So if your planet is earning 200bn a month, and the edict will cost 50bn a month, I'd like some way of seeing the income next turn without having to manually go back and check it on the intelligence tab.

@Texashawk 44. You forgot to change the numerical values for the cost of edicts. Still displays full number.
